Plastics
With our experience in the processing of plastics, we are a reliable partner for the medical technology and pharmaceutical industry.
This includes the processing of high-temperature thermoplastics, fluoropolymers, and hoses with wire reinforcement. Consistently high product quality is ensured through regular testing. On a cleanroom production area of approximately 250 m² (ISO Class 7), even large production quantities are processed with utmost precision and reliability using state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment.
Development
Ecomedis designs and manufactures components all in one place. The smallest dimensions, tight tolerances, and high functional requirements are all demands in the production of customized system solutions.
Our expertise in injection molding for the medical technology and pharmaceutical industries ensures this. Tailored products require an injection-molding-friendly design and economically optimal manufacturing methods. With our competencies in injection molding, along with our knowledge in development, materials, and assembly, we can fully realize your ideas.
Assembly
Besides adhesive (conventional and UV) or purely mechanical joining techniques, we also offer methods such as printing, forming, and the incorporation of die-cuts as well as perforations.
During the finishing process, the integration of electronic components, microchips, electrodes, and storage elements is realized through manual, semi-automated, or fully automated assembly processes. We provide efficient and process-safe solutions that tailor the technical execution and system concepts to your requirements and capacity needs.

In principle, Ecomedis is capable of developing and producing catheters for every medical application area. The product portfolio includes catheters for cardiology, gynecology, urology, reproductive medicine, IV catheters, as well as for the field of tissue engineering. For instance, a product has been successfully established that allows for the precise implantation of cultured cartilage cells.

Sterilization
Sterilization using the material-friendly ethylene oxide method (Third-Party). Validation, control, and release of the sterilization process according to ISO 11135 in collaboration with accredited testing laboratories.

We use various validated packaging formats and types. This allows us to accommodate customer requirements for specific packaging for our products and third-party products.
Development and Approval

Production

The centerpiece of production is a 250 m2 clean room of Class D. It complies with current European as well as American (GMP and US FED compliant) guidelines. This enables Ecomedis to cater to inquiries in expanding foreign markets. At the same time, investments in both replacement and new equipment in injection molding and precision machining technology ensure that customer requirements can always be met with manufacturing technology that is up to date.
